[T]he restaurant is a delightful compliment to their hand-picked selection of books, CDs and vinyl. It will also make you feel like you aren't so much inside a trendy tapas bar, but rather inside someones living room. Which is a great thing if you ask me. Comfortable and intimate, the open kitchen adds to the effect of feeling like you are inside a house. A beautifully decorated, warm, cozy house that comes equipped with its own personal chef. The lack of signage out front only adds to its private home-like mystique and the ceiling above the bar was decorated with old worn-down doors. Pretty cool if you ask me. Okay I'll just say it… I loved everything about it!

On Les Gourmands du South End, Jeff dishes on his first visit to Michael Schlow's new Tico on Berkeley Street, which serves up a mixture of Latin American dishes. His verdict: He'd consider a return trip, but the music needs to be toned down.

Boston Chomps recommends Muqueca in Inman Square for Brazilian seafood stew:

... My favorite however, was the cod capixaba. It's made from salt cod, and stewed in coconut milk. The stew also includes plantains, olives, and boiled eggs. A strange combination but DELICIOUS. It tasted even better after adding the hot sauce served at every table. ...

Eileen loves BarLola for its tapas and sangria, although she allows:

The only downside is that it's definitely a chick restaurant- it was packed with tables of women and gay men, and the occasional straight guy dragged there by his girlfriend, which isn't a downside at all if you're just going to get some food and drinks and have a good time with your friends. ...
