Bad day to shut the Children's Museum
By adamg - 6/14/09 - 11:40 amTom Ulrich tweets the entire museum was shut around 11:40 a.m. because of "an epoxy smell coming from one of the exhibits."
Milk: It does a photographer good
By adamg - 2/13/09 - 10:06 pmGiant Milk Bottles is a Flickr pool for posting photos of, well, giant milk bottles. Sure, our very own Giant Milk Bottle figures prominently, but that really only skims the surface of what's out there.

You know those people you always see behind the window on Good Morning America?
By adamg - 11/8/07 - 4:05 pmHere's your chance to be just like them, only in the comfort of your very own Hub.
The CBS Early Show is broadcasting live from the Children's Museum tomorrow morning (Friday, Nov. 9) and they need an audience. Dave Price will be there himself. Only drawback: They want you there at 6:15 in the morning, so they can prep you or buff you or get you wound up beyond belief for the broadcast starting at 7 a.m. But hey, how often do you get to wave hi to your mom on national TV? And never mind how often does your mom watch the CBS Early Show at 7 a.m.
I found out about this from a producer who was under the mistaken impression that Universal Hub was a large organization that could ship lots of members up to the museum at the crack of dawn, instead of being mainly the work of a hermit-like misanthrope who barely gets through mornings, and even then only with the help of Dunkin' Donuts' finest.
The Milk Bottle is back
By adamg - 11/9/06 - 7:49 pmJonelle notices that the Milk Bottle is back at the Children's Museum and that it's been re-capped:
... The recapping of the Hood Milk Bottle is a somewhat comforting reminder that everything will be patched back up someday.
Somebody's lost his head

Taking the top off the Milk Bottle
By adamg - 5/25/06 - 2:01 pmA Girl Named Fred takes photos of the top of the Hood Milk Bottle being pried off as workers ready it to be moved to a temporary location for repairs.
No word if they found any curdled milk inside the 50,000-gallon bottle.
