UPDATE: Arrest made.
There was a fatal shooting at 132 Hyde Park Ave. around 6:30 p.m. at 132 Hyde Park Avenue, near Walk Hill, Scott Eisen reports.
Police shut Hyde Park Avenue as they began their investigation, but the road is now re-opened to traffic.

A Suffolk County grand jury has indicted an East Boston man for the death of Michael Costa 13 months after Costa was beaten to the ground at a bus stop on Nov. 2, 2010. Boston Police and the Suffolk County District Attorney's office have launched a manhunt for Jean "Tyson" Torres Varga, thanks to a mistake by the Suffolk County Criminal Clerk's Office, which let him walk by mistake before his araignment.
Police say Costa and a friend were waiting for a bus on Meridian Street when Costa spotted Vargas and pointed him out to his friend because he knew the two had had words before:

[/float]In the last 3 days in Boston, 10 people have been shot and 2 have died from gun shot wounds. In all likelihood, all of these crimes were committed with illegal guns.
www.MayorsAgainstIllegalGuns.org has proposed Federal legislation that would help get illegal guns off the streets. Ask your Congressman, Senators and neighbors if they support it.
The NRA is one of the most powerful lobbies in the USA so we have a lot of work to do to get this passed. Scott Brown says he opposes Federal legislation on this issue because "it is a local issue." Mayors Tom Menino and Mike Bloomberg and mayors from 625 cities in the USA disagree with Scott Brown.

WBUR reports a male student was found with gunshot wounds on Allston Street across from Glenville Avenue around 2:30 a.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Dorchester man was charged with stabbing his downstairs neighbor to death early this morning.
Tu Nguyen, 28, of 45 Codman Hill Ave. was ordered to Bridgewater for 20 days of observation at his arraignment in Dorchester District Court, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Monday update: Boston Police report the woman, Keosha Gilmore, 25, has died. She is Boston's fourth murder victim this year. She was a graduate of Madison Park High School.

The homicide unit was on scene outside Dearborn Liquors, 60 Dearborn St., Tuesday night. The suspect may be a black man in his late 30s or early 40s, with "Jamaican style" hair under a long cap, who rode away on a bicycle.

The Dorchester Reporter reports the victim died. He is Dorchester's 26th murder victim this year.
