After he was charged with spray painting his tag on the old trolleys at Boylston station, police say, Marc Meadowcroft of Revere promised to never do it again. In exchange, authorities agreed to a plea deal that kept him out of jail.

A developer is proposing to tear down some old buildings at Washington and Green streets, across from the E-13 police station and put up a 44-unit apartment building that would feature private terraces for some units and a rooftop deck. Read more.

An E Line trolley gave up the ghost at MFA, a Red Line train went express to Valhalla on the Braintree branch and an Orange Line train turned blue at Green. Or as MBTA Haiku put it:

Search along the Southwest Corridor in Jamaica Plain

Around 8 p.m., BPD officers tried to stop a car in the area of McBride Street in Jamaica Plain as part of a drug investigation. Seems the driver didn't want to be stopped, so he took off, with officers in pursuit. Just as a supervisor was about to call off the search, officers managed to box the car in near English High School.

They collared one of the cars occupants, but another took off down through the Southwest Corridor Park. Read more.

Proposed apartment building at Gree and Amory streets in Jamaica Plain

Developer Chris DiSisto says the condos he built at Amory and Green streets in 2012 worked out so well he wants to replicate their success across the street. In a filing with the BRA, DiSisto is proposing a 15-unit apartment building across Amory from the T stop that would also have retail space - including for a restaurant DiSisto says he wants to run. It's not every day you see someone get on the T carrying a live 6-foot snake. So that happened.

She says the woman had the snake around her neck and that the pair got off at Green Street. She adds the snake:

Was a kind of light brown with black spots I think. I was trying not to stare!

Around 10:30 p.m. The robber put a knife to her back as she was on her phone, took the phone and fled. He's described as Hispanic, about 5'6" and 170 lbs with a chinstrap beard. He wore a black and yellow Bruins winter cap with a pom-pom on top, a white track suit and sneakers with pink laces. He may have fled on an inbound Orange Line train.

At 9 a.m. on Saturday, Darryll Fernald will be at the Green Street T stop with a shovel. And then he'll go out in search of people who still need help digging out. He's taking requests - and hoping other folks will join him in a roving JP cleanup squad.

John reports he watched the guy get helped up and his scooter retrieved, says he almost drove off the platform a second time.

A T spokeswoman says the person declined medical attention and that service was delayed for about 18 minutes.

Transit Police report arresting a Mattapan man on charges he masturbated on an Orange Line train on Tuesday afternoon.

Police say Ramon Antonio Baez, 25, got on an inbound train at Green Street shortly after 3:30 p.m., and sat across from a woman who'd boarded at Forest Hills:

Shortly thereafter the male removed his penis from his pants and began to masturbate while leering at the reporting party.

The city reports about 500 customers are without power in Jamaica Plain today but that NStar is looking to restore their service by 3 p.m.

One Green Street resident reports the power went out around 5:45 a.m.

The inbound track needs repairs, but that requires some special parts, which are currently on order, T spokesman Joe Pesaturo says:

The speed restriction will remain in place until the repairs are made. Upon the arrival of some parts needed to make the repairs, the work will be scheduled for a weekend within sixty days.
