It's really painful watching Tom Reilly slowly implode. His flacks say the AG stopped taking contributions from Big Dig execs last year. Then Kimberly Atkins at the Herald spends five minutes with the state-run contributions database and discovers $500 contributions from a Modern Continental vice president and his wife just last month.

It was not many months ago when Reilly was challenging Patrick on the release of his taxes because Reilly felt as though the people deserved to know where Patrick's money was coming from and who may be influencing the candidate. In Tom Reilly's case we know where the money is coming from and we know that this sort of influence cannot continue.
