Boston Charity Walk Season

It's charity walk season here in Boston, and that means every weekend, some part of the city will be shut down, causing major traffic and mobility headaches.

I think there is a better way...charity walks, extortion style.

Get on the radio as part of this Sunday's audience participation event for "Radio With A View" at Jimmy Tingle's Off-Broadway Theater in Davis Square, Somerville. The event begins at 4:00 pm.

Betsy notes that this Sunday is May Fair in Harvard Square and that among the events is a baldie booth:

... Food, crafts, merchant displays, buskers, the strolling crowds--and something special and wacky from Diego Salon--"a haircutting event to raise money for breast cancer and to donate hair to be made into wigs for children who lose their hair to chemotherapy." ...

You don't have to get all your hair cut off, though - 10 inches of locks is enough to get you a free haircut and makeover.
