It’s time to meet the friendly faces of the group that’s grown to almost 1600 members, hosted 85+ events and fostered hundreds of connections since our founding 4 years ago.

Join us if you are ready to go BEYOND ALLIES and build a CROSS-ISSUE PROGRESSIVE MOVEMENT.

Citizen Nawi at the Boston Jewish Film Festival

This award-winning Israeli film documents the tumultuous life and struggles of charismatic gay activist Ezra Nawi. An Iraqi Jew living in Jerusalem, Ezra illegally shelters his long-time Palestinian partner and tries to protect Palestinian farmers and villagers from Israeli settlers and military bulldozers. Meet up for coffee at Panera before the film.

Expressions of Poverty, Aug 14th 7pm

Come join the Boston Firefly Project for a night of art, poetry, and activism as we raise awareness around the issue of poverty worldwide. Local artists, poets, and writers will be presenting and displaying their work on Thursday, August 14th from 7-9pm at the Lincoln Institute for Land Policy on 113 Brattle Street in Cambridge, a short walk from the Harvard Square T stop. Come meet other activists in the area and take part in the convergence of art and human rights - snacks and beverages provided!
