Hub Politics says Patrick failed to shine and that the main act was the sparring between Mihos and Healey.

Free for All: What are you watching tonight?

John Daley will be watching tonight's debate (6 p.m. on Channel 25):

Will Patrick move to the center? Will Healey go over the top? Tonight's debate will be worth watching. At the very least it will be engaging. ...

Jay Fitzgerald writes that Healey needs to alter her approach:

... A repeat of her primary-night robotic attack/here-I-am mode probably won't work. She should swing for hits, not the fence. ...

Aaron Margolis makes some debate predictions.

Solomonia has some questions for Green-Rainbow candidate Grace Ross, who will be there along with Christy Mihos.

Elias thinks the presence of Mihos and Ross will prevent any knockout blows between Healey and Patrick, but is curious as to whom the Rupert Murdoch affiliate has chosen as moderator.

New feature: Political Free for All

Phew, there sure is a lot of political talk going on. Rather than turn Universal Hub into all politics, all the time (you know that sort of thing only makes sense when the Sox get into the World Series), I'm going to try a daily Free for All summary for folks who are really into this. Let me know what you think.

Steve Nadis thinks Patrick will dispatch Healey with ease, but

then he'll face the bigger challenge, doing what his former boss Bill Clinton did not do--measuring up to his great promise.
