Celtics go West
By Kaz - 9/1/10 - 3:14 pmThe Boston Celtics have signed Delonte West to a contract for the upcoming season. This will be interesting for a lot of reasons including the fact that Delonte used to be a Celtic.
West was traded as part of the deal that brought Ray Allen as part of the "Big Three" and has bounced around since then. He was last seen in Boston Garden losing with the Cleveland LeBrons during the 2010 NBA Playoffs. It's unknown whether he will make the starting day roster yet, but he is capable of playing both the 1 or 2 position which makes for some potentially interesting sets with Rajon Rondo, Nate Robinson, and Ray Allen.
It also looks like this move might be useful at getting into LeBron's head during the game.

By AdamPieniazek - 5/13/10 - 12:00 pmNo, we're not in a bizarro universe, Celtics fans chanting "New York Knicks, New York Knicks" is just the latest in twitter-chant technology brought to you by Bill Simmons. Will it work to shake Lebron and the Cavs tonight?
Remarkable NBA playoff series
By david_yamada - 5/1/09 - 8:29 amCeltics lose in triple-overtime to the Bulls, 128-127, in the sixth game of a history-making playoff series. Final game 7 at 8 pm Saturday in Boston.
Here comes Starbury
By Kaz - 2/26/09 - 4:27 pmStephon Marbury, formerly of the New York Knicks, announced today that he will be joining the Celtics as soon as tomorrow. Will Garnett and the others be able to mold him into a team-motivated role player behind Rondo at Point Guard? Boston teams seem to have a knack for getting "trouble players" in line for the betterment of the team as a whole. If nothing else, the end of the season should be very interesting to follow.

Oh, Bibby.
By Kaz - 4/23/08 - 8:26 amMike Bibby of the Atlanta Hawks called out Boston fans before practice at the Garden. He said the crowd at the first playoff game between the Celtics and Hawks were "fair weather" and only loud at the beginning of the game. Bibby further ran his mouth to suggest that it's only bandwagoning that has all the fans out right now and he didn't see "three-fourths of them last year" when he played here.
