Transit Police report the arrest of Mehmet Beyaztas, 27, on charges he followed a woman onto a Green Line trolley at Symphony, then unzipped his pants and began some self-tugging, around 5:20 a.m. on April 4. Read more.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation yesterday approved a $3.3-million contract to design elevators and other improvements to Symphony on the Green Line and Wollaston on the Red Line to make them more accessible to the disabled.

MBTA Police arrested an Irish national on charges he rubbed up against a woman at a fare machine at the Symphony T stop around 10:30 last night - after making lewd comments to her and a companion.
