Boston Police report arresting a 14-year-old they say was packing a gun loaded with 12 bullets early this morning on Zeigler Street in Dudley Square - only a couple blocks from where they arrested another 14-year-old on similar charges less than two weeks ago. Read more.

Boston Police report the victim was stabbed around 9:50 a.m. at 55 Warren St. He was transported to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

A Suffolk Superior Court judge today convicted Jennifer Garvey, 34, of using her baton to beat a woman who complained about the way she and another officer were dealing with a woman at the Dudley Square T stop and of then lying about it, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. The Supreme Judicial Court ruled today a woman who swallowed what appeared to be a bag of heroin in full view of a police officer shouldn't have been charged with "misleading a police officer" because he knew exactly where the bag was. Read more.
