Miles on the MBTA goes on a ride on a hydrogen-powered bus the T is trying out on route 109 out of Sullivan Square.

Sullivan Square didn't always feel like a depressing afterthought to the construction of an interstate in the middle of a horrible rotary. The original station, built at the turn of the last century, featured a soaring vaulted ceiling, elegant architectural touches - and tracks for trolleys. Remember trolleys? Shortly before 8 p.m., a train crawled into a hole at Sullivan and refused to come out, causing the dreaded "severe" delays.

Meanwhile, a Green Line trolley died at Boylston and a Red Line train flatlined at Porter. But at least the Blue Line kept things snappy.

A downtown developer has filed plans for a 171-unit, two-building complex where Cambridge Street and Rutherford Avenue come together.

In plans filed with the BRA today, Berkeley Investments says it will gut and rehab the Graphic Arts Finishers building at 32 Cambridge St. and replace a second building at 572 Rutherford Ave. for a new development it says will knit an existing neighborhood to the south with the Sullivan Square T stop. Mayor Walsh's office announced tonight that Boston has signed a "Surrounding Community Agreement" that includes $68 million worth of payments to the city over the next 15 years and an effort to spend at least $20 million a year with Boston businesses over the same period.

The agreement marks the end of the city's increasingly futile court challenges to the Wynn casino on a parcel in neighboring Everett. Read more.

What is all over the street around Sullivan Sq? It's a fine powder that's being thrown up into the air whenever making a cloud you can't see 20 feet through? Is it a chemical from a truck? There is tons of it! Please clean it up!

Transit Police report they are looking for a trio in connection with an attack just outside the Sullivan Square Orange Line stop with injuries around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. Read more.

Creatine Avenger shows us that Sullivan Square commuters have 99 problems - all of them related to this tractor trailer that overturned early this morning. Things remained a mess as of 7:37 a.m., Jesse E-V reports.

But it was a small fire, around 2:40 p.m., and the Boston Fire Department made quick work of it, and the Orange Line is back to running in the current fashion, so hardly worth mentioning.
