Robbery with a machete on Mission Hill

Boston Police are looking for two suspects who held up a guy around 4 p.m. on Terrace Street near Alleghany Street.

One suspect was apparently armed with a gun. The other, however, carried a machete. Both are described as black males.

Norwood Police report they are looking for a guy who held up a Sunoco station on Rte. 1 south with a machete on July 26. He's described as white, about 25, 5'11" with dark hair and "brown, puppy-dog eyes." He's believed to have gotten away in an older Corolla with no hubcaps, driven by somebody else.

According to the video, the robber asked for all the clerk's money, as well as five cartons of Newports and "a ton" of scratch tickets. Then, just before he left, he said, "Alright, have a good day. Thank you."

Boston Police report four people were shot around 3:50 a.m. at 7 Edson St. Carl Hentz Belizaire, 21, of Mattapan, was pronounced dead at Brigham and Women's Hospital. The other three victims - a man, 26, a man, 40, and a woman, 19 - are all expected to survive.

Belizaire is Dorchester's 17th murder victim of 2009 and Boston's 40th. Police say he was the intended victim; the other three people were just in the way.

The Herald reports that around 5 a.m., a man involved in a large fight outside a party at 98 Intervale St. whipped out a machete and began slashing: Four people were injured, but are expected to survive.

Boston Police report on a fight at Eutaw and Meridian streets around 3 p.m. on Jan. 23:

The victim stated that while walking he was bumped in the shoulder area by one of three Hispanic males and that an argument ensued between the victim and the three unknown Hispanic males. The victim stated that the argument became physical and that suspect # 1 a white Hispanic male wearing a black North Face jacket with fur on the hood, used a machete to cut him on the back of his right hand causing a very serious laceration.
