Artist Mary Sheehan Winn posts a photo of an oil painting she recently did on commission: A Dunkin' Donuts cup and some jelly-filled Munchkins:

This painting is a commission done from a similar painting, for a pair of sisters. I don't know who's going to end up with it but they are both DD fans. I admit I was hindered some (mentally) by having already done this same painting, but I set up my still life anyway and did it again. Hope I captured the same feeling that drew them to it.

The Boston Fire Department reports a fire that erupted around 12:30 a.m. at 24 W. Broadway forced eight residents into the chill air, but caused no injuries.

A third-floor short-circuit started the fire, which did an estimated $400,000 in damage. The Red Cross assisted residents in finding new places to stay. The department noted that, in addition to apartments, the building houses a Dunkin' Donuts.

Police: Man getting less nervous the more he knocks over the same Dunkin' Donuts in Burlington

Burlington Police report a man who robbed a Dunkin' Donuts in their town last Friday returned Tuesday and robbed it again.

The first time, the white guy in his 20s "appeared to be very nervous" as he told a clerk he had a gun - although he never showed it - and demanded all the money in the cash register. But when he returned Tuesday, his nervousness was gone, he pulled out what "appeared to be a black semi automatic" and told the clerk "you have 10 seconds, give me the money." He then reached over the counter, grabbed the cash drawer and fled. Police say they have yet to find the drawer.

Channel 5 reports two brothers - one from Dorchester, one from Quincy - were arrested for robbing a Canton Dunkin' Donuts Saturday and that police think they may be responsible for up to 30 other Dunkin' robberies across the area.

The Patriot Ledger reports a burglary ring has decided it's time to rob the donut stores:

A Dunkin' Donuts franchisee goes before the Zoning Board of Appeals on Wednesday, Oct. 19, for permission to open an outlet in the station's food court. Currently, commuters have to walk all the way across Atlantic Avenue or struggle to make their way to Federal Street to get their fix.

Wellesley Police report they are looking for three guys who broke into the Dunkin' Donuts on Rte. 9 eastbound just after the Natick line sometime early this morning and made off with a safe:

Two men using a yellow "fat max" bar make forced entry through the drive-thru window. ... The two men struggled with the window, finally made entry. One of the men opened the rear door allowing a third male to enter the store. Suspect #2 wearing a mask, used a sledgehammer to force open an office door. Once inside, suspects remove small Sentry style safe from a drawer and fled through the rear of Dunkin Donuts.

Revere keeps it classy: Pregnant woman gets punched in face in Dunkin' parking lot

The Revere Journal reports on a brawl that erupted after a minor fender-bender in a Dunkin' Donuts parking lot:

Cordischi seemed to be getting beaten, so her pregnant friend got out of the car to try to break up the fight.

The pregnant woman screamed at Giangrande to get off her friend.

When Giangrande heard the scream, she allegedly turned around and cold-cocked the pregnant woman in the face – causing a laceration.
