Edmond Hatfield got up before the crack of dawn today for an annual winter occurrence from Long Wharf - the sun coming up over the open water, rather than Logan Airport.

There was a nice sunset over the Gillette plant tonight (if not quite as dramatic as yesterday's), as seen from near the convention center. A few minutes later, the sunset was more muted, but completely different, over the Haul Road, as seen from the bridge between the convention center and the Silver Line stop:

Nice sunset over Hyde Park tonight

We'd just turned onto River Street from, um, River Street when, blam, beautiful sunset. And it only seemed to last for a couple of minutes. "Nice shot! Nice shot!" this guy yelled when I pulled over by the Bank of America to take some photos.
