So far this cold January morning, trains have died on the Red, Blue and Green lines and the Worcester Line is experiencing major delays.

Police finger man for MBTA pervishness

A Roxbury man was ordered held in lieu of $5,000 bail today on charges he used a special slit in his pants to masturbate and expose himself on a Blue Line train as it traveled under Boston Harbor on Dec. 24, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Abdelhakim Rezzoug was arraigned in East Boston District Court on a charge of open and gross lewdness for the incident. A rider captured him on video as he got off the train at Airport around 5:40 p.m., MBTA Transit police say. The DA's office says that not long after MBTA police released a wanted poster, a Boston Police sergeant reported he knew that guy - he was a resident of a DMH facility.

The DA's office says Rezzoug was arrested today on the Blue Line and that he will also be charged for a similar incident earlier on Dec. 24 on the Red Line.

MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo issued the following statement Tuesday afternoon:

The employee today was reprimanded and the incident is now included in his personnel file. No further action will be taken unless such an incident happens again. This matter is closed.

A man wanted on two continents for massive graffiti attacks against subway systems was nabbed in Newark as he was about to board a plane for Paris and has been shipped up to Boston, where he now faces up to three years in prison for allegedly tagging up Red Line trains and Alewife station on Sept. 13, the MBTA reports.

Maxime Christian Bezat, 25, was arrested at Newark Airport on Dec. 3. Although he faces numerous tagging charges in New York, MBTA Transit Police journeyed south to bring him to Boston, which in recent years has become something of the nation's graffiti enforcer.

Bezat, who allegedly goes by "Rask," was arraigned in Cambridge District Court yesterday on vandalism charges; he was ordered held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

A photo released by the MBTA of a spray-painted Red Line train shows two other large tags in apparently different styles than Rask's. MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo said "the investigation is ongoing."

Fitchburg man charged with indecent assault on the Red Line

A Harvard manTransit Police have made an arrest for a November incident in which a guy allegedly poked a woman's crotch with a finger as their Red Line train pulled into Kendall Square.

Bradley J. Spencer, 36, was arrested Friday, Transit Police report.

The Globe reports that Spencer, is a Harvard grad student and teaching fellow. His CV.

Transit Police report the victim, despite being shocked by the assault, managed to take his photo with her cell phone before they both got off the train at Park Street.
