The Crimson reports on the shame brought down on the Harvard Business School because of an altercation outside a party at a Lansdowne Street bar on Friday that ended with one student charged with assault and battery on a police officer and at least one injury: A "male student who badly cut his foot after removing his high heels."

Former Wentworth cops plead guilty to being yutzes

The two erstwhile officers at the Wentworth Institute of Technology got 30 days probation today for attempting to sell college GPS and surveying equipment on eBay, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Jonathan Carroll, Jr, 28, and Jay Cunha, 27, were charged with removing $40,000 worth of equipment from a storage unit and putting it up for sale. Unfortunately for them, another employee noticed the equipment was missing the very next day, the DA's office says. Other Wentworth officers checked out eBay to see if any of the equipment turned up there and then tracked the pair down by contacting somebody who made a successful $4,500 bid for one of the devices - a Trimble 5800 GPS.

The college was able to retrieve all of the missing equipment, the DA's office says.

Police: Woman jumped by three men in the Fens, raped by one

Boston Police report a woman walking on Agassiz Road around 12:30 a.m. today was knocked to the ground by three backpack-wearing men and dragged into the brush, where one of the men raped her. After he was done, the three ran toward Park Drive, police say.

The rapist is described as a white Hispanic male in his early 20s, about 5'8", wearing a dark hoodie and jeans. The other two are described as black, in their early 20s, one wearing a zipped-up hoodie and dark jeans.

Sam Baltrusis reports the Fenway school is being cast as the World's Greatest University in Justin Timberlake's movie about Facebook:

Crews spent the afternoon of Monday, Oct. 19 covering the college stand-in with fake snow.

For a touch of realism, they should then line the neighboring streets with chairs and fake broken end tables.

Construction begins next summer on a $500-million project across from Fenway Park that will replace a non-descript parking lot and aging commuter-rail station with new housing and offices - some built on a deck across the turnpike - and a large new train station, developer John Rosenthal and city and state officials said today.

Ah, freshmen. A pair of Emmanuel students, unaware that turkeys are everywhere in the medical district, attempt to herd one off campus and into "the woods" along the Muddy River. They panic the poor bird onto the Riverway, where only by the grace of God does it avoid getting filleted by a speeding Subaru. The one saving grace of the whole sordid episode: The sprained ankle one of the guys manages to get when he exerts himself:
