The Globe reports the owners of the Boston Garden are finally looking to make good on plans - approved in the 1980s - to put something in front of the arena. Specifically, they're considering two 400-foot towers featuring, naturally, lots of luxury apartments, along with a Target and a Stop & Shop.

federal bldg. causeway at lomasny. some sort of giant rat like creature walking around. looks like rat with a raccoon body the size of a med size cat!

Causeway Street Dunkin' Donuts robbed at gunpoint

Boston Police report the Dunkin' Donuts at 59 Causeway St. was held up by a guy with a gun on Tuesday.

Police say the suspect, wearing a white and yellow striped shirt, showed a gun, then demanded a clerk open the register. Police say he reached in with his left hand - his right still gripping the gun - grabbed the cash drawer and fled.

Jesse Haley takes photos of a hawk making quick work of a pigeon:

Walked by the Burger King across the street from the Boston Garden and a flurry of pigeon feathers fell from above. I looked up and this hawk was devouring a very unfortunate pigeon.

Grisly - but that's life, right?
