It has come to me from a reliable source that 4 yes 4 more Boston Public Schools will be closing. The announcement was supposed to be on the News at 6pm tonite. This is unbelievable. Rather that keeping these schools OPEN it has been decided to close them. If money is the issue ...Why don't we save some and eliminate the bus situation? Kids as young as 4 years old on a bus travelling across the city without any supervision.

This Friday, October 3rd at 1 p.m., WBUR will be re-launching its weekly local news/talk program, Radio Boston. We've got a new in studio host, award winning journalist Jane Clayson, and David Boeri will continue as field host of the program. This week we'll be doing a show about the new Rose Kennedy Greenway, which is scheduled to have its grand opening on Saturday October 4th. State Senate candidate Sonia Chang-Diaz came to Beacon Hill this morning, attending Hill House's annual pancake breakfast at the Firehouse on Mt. Vernon Street. Voters were excited to see her there, and it's pretty clear many across the 2nd Suffolk district are following the race.

Today's Boston Globe endorsed Sonia Chang-Diaz in the Mass. 2nd Suffolk State Senate race. The election is Tuesday, September 16. From the endorsement:
