Once a year, Alyssa Boehm's husband leaves her for a weekend to try to find a coin hidden at MIT. She describes her hubby-less life:

... Usually I hang out at home, catch up on E! and go to the movies. This year I'm planning a double or triple-feature of films to be determined. I call friends for dinner. I might get a pedicure. And I suppose I should clean the bathroom. ...

If there were a competition for best hook-up story, a strong contender would be Jolie's post on how she donned her fishnets and jumped on the train to New York to hook up with some guy she met through the comments thread on a Gawker post about socially inept New York men on the subway. Rated R, at least, so not for the easily offended or people who work in cube farms where they have to worry about co-workers or bosses wondering what all the purple (literally, purple) prose is about.

Bostonia Rantida explains why she prefers construction workers:

... Yeah, when I walk by them they sometimes give me a look, but so what, I look great in a skirt. I can't even remember the last time I've walked past a job site and felt creeped out; I honestly don't think it's happened to me. I'm told good morning and nodded at nicely.
