The three museums on Columbia Point are offering a free trolley bus ride from the Back Bay to Columbia Point on Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 1.

Copley Square times: 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.
Columbia Point times: 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m.

UPDATE: Mayor Walsh also got involved. His Roxbury liaison, Kaira Fox e-mailed neighborhood groups and other elected officials on Friday: "I wanted to let you know, the Mayor has heard the complaints and reached out to Clear Channel personnally to ask that they change the billboard. The City does not have control over the content of Billboards, but agrees this is in very poor taste to have in our neighborhood."

Boston Police report arresting a Hyde Park man with a gun after he allegedly stuck up somebody who'd just made a withdrawal at a Citizens Bank ATM at 572 Columbia Rd. around 1:25 a.m. on Friday.

Police say the victim flagged down a passing C-11 cruiser and described the suspect, clad in a hoodie and pajama pants:

The Globe reports Marilyn Mosby, who brought charges today against six Baltimore police officers, herself comes from a family with a long tradition of serving in the Boston Police Department - and first got interested in the justice system when her 17-year-old cousin was shot to death in Dorchester.

A Springfield man sentenced to ten years in prison in 2005 for dealing cocaine out of his apartment was arrested Thursday on charges of dealing cocaine in Boston, Boston Police report.

Police say they'd had their eye on Craig Bogle, 53, since December, when they heard he was in Boston and dealing drugs.

On Thursday, April 23 at 6:30PM, the University of Massachusetts Boston Economics Department will be hosting a public discussion on the economic implications of hosting the 2024 Summer Olympics in Boston with Andrew Zimbalist, rofessor at Smith College and author of the recent book Circus Maximus, and Arthur MacEwan, professor emeritus at University of Massachusetts Boston.

Andrew Zimbalist will be giving a lecture from 6:30 to 7:15, followed by a discussion moderated by Arthur MacEwan.

Not long after police responded to the area of Blue Hill Avenue and Johnston Road on a report of gunfire out of a black car, other officers spotted the car heading south on Blue Hill Avenue.

The car turned onto Babson, then Crossman, blew a tire, stopped near Merola Park and W. Selden Street, where three men got out and tried to run away - only to all be stopped and cuffed by officers.

Jaquan Casanova, 24, of Dorchester, was indicted on federal charges last week that he pulled the trigger on a leader of a prostitution ring suspected of talking to the feds.

Another alleged ringleader. Raymond Jeffreys, 27, also of Dorchester, was already facing charges, and was also charged last week with the attempted murder of Darian Thomson as Thomson sat in a car at Draper and Westville streets in Dorchester around 10:10 p.m. on April 30, 2013.

Truck hanging off I-93 in Dorchester

UPDATE: State Police report the truck and a Scion tC collided around 6 a.m., sending the truck partially over the Jersey barriers.

A box truck that wound up hanging off I-93 south in Dorchester this morning created problems on both the highway and the Red Line below - which the MBTA shut until mechanics could move the truck and end the risk it might plunge onto the tracks.

Spitty lady

Transit Police report they are looking for a woman they say spit on a 41 bus driver and hit him with something around 5:30 p.m. on April 1 near the intersection of Columbia Road and Annabel Street in Dorchester.

She's described as black, with red highlights in her hair, wearing a pink North Face jacket, black leggings and white sneakers. A Transit Police spokesman said the woman was not disputing a fare or anything like that, she was just being "aggressive."
