Boston Police report a woman was indecently attacked around 3 a.m. on Saturday at Boston and Mayhew streets in Dorchester - almost two months after another woman was similarly attacked late at night in the area of Farragut Road in South Boston.

In both cases, the attacker was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s; in one case, 5'9" or 5'10" and in the other 5'7" to 5'9." Also, in both cases, the women screamed for help and the guy then ran off.

UPDATE: Suspects arrested.

The Dunkin' Donuts at 1580 Dorchester Ave. was held up at gunpoint around 10:25 p.m., by a bald black man in his late 30s or early 40s - which is the same description given for the suspect in armed robberies this morning at the nearby McDonald's and outside the Fields Corner T stop.

The Globe reports on a forum for the districts now represented by Charles Yancey and Tito Jackson - the only ones to have enough candidates to require preliminaries on Tuesday.

Perennial candidate Roy Owens, this time running for Jackson's seat, demanded the city stop asking churches to close on Sunday for "rock and roll."

The Dorchester Reporter reports city elections officials managed to correct a precinct problem that had 400 residents assigned to District 3, where Frank Baker has no preliminary, when they should have been assigned to District 4, where Charles Yancey faces a preliminary election on Tuesday.

Around 10:45 p.m., somebody let loose with at least ten rounds in the rear of the King School onto Intervale Street. Two residential buildings across the street were hit; bullets wound up in a second floor apartment in one of the buildings. No injuries.

A Dorchester Municipal Court judge today continued a Roslindale woman's $10,000 bail on gun charges, but also ordered her to wear a GPS device, be home by 7 p.m. every night and to stay away from the Franklin Field area following her arrest there shortly after 4 a.m. on Saturday. Read more.

A Mattapan man was ordered held without bail today on charges he murdered Jean Louis, 20, and injured a teenager on Bailey Street on July 11. Read more.

UPDATE, 10:30 a.m., Friday: Police say the woman remains alive.

A woman was hit by a car and wound up under it around 11:30 p.m. at Columbia Road and Geneva Avenue in Dorchester. Both the homicide unit and the fatal-accident reconstruction team were called in. The driver remained at the scene.

Columbia Road was shut in both directions for the investigation.

Two challengers look to unseat the longest sitting city councilor in September's preliminary election for District 4, which includes parts of Dorchester, Mattapan and Jamaica Plain. We talked to both Andrea Campbell and Terrance Williams. Councilor Charles Yancey did not respond to several interview requests. A fourth candidate, Jovan Lacet, will be listed on the Sept. 8 preliminary ballot, but Lacet says he has dropped out of the race.

Andrea Campbell of Mattapan is a newcomer to the race for public office after serving as deputy legal counsel for Gov. Deval Patrick. Terrance Williams of Dorchester is back after an unsuccessful 2013 run against Yancey. Read more.
