Boston Police report Jeromie Johnson, 33, of Dorchester, died after being shot at 50 Richfield St. around 8:20 p.m. on April 4.

He was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he eventually died, police say.

The man was shot around 11:45 p.m. on McLellan Street, off Blue Hill Avenue. Due to the severity of his injuries, the homicide unit was called in, just in case.

Somebody filed a complaint with the city about one of those movable basketball backboard/hoop things sitting at the corner of Whitfield and Dunlap streets in Dorchester, saying somebody will get killed by a car and the kids playing basketball make too much of a ruckus at night.

A man already in prison for violating conditions of probation on a gun charge is scheduled for arraignment tomorrow on charges he shot Julien Printemps of Mattapan to death on Jan. 26, 2014 outside the Tedeschi shop on Dorchester Avenue, Boston Police and the Suffolk County District Attorney's office report. Anyone know of a local ceramic shop or thrist store where I can find ceramic fairies?

I know it is a weird request, but I really need a few for the neighborhood kids.

The few I had in my front yard broke over the winter, and at least 3 little girls in the neighborhood feel a real loss because the fairies are missing. One 6 year old girl gave me some seeds to attract new fairies.

The three museums on Columbia Point are offering a free trolley bus ride from the Back Bay to Columbia Point on Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 1.

UPDATE: Mayor Walsh also got involved. His Roxbury liaison, Kaira Fox e-mailed neighborhood groups and other elected officials on Friday: "I wanted to let you know, the Mayor has heard the complaints and reached out to Clear Channel personnally to ask that they change the billboard. The City does not have control over the content of Billboards, but agrees this is in very poor taste to have in our neighborhood."

Boston Police report arresting a Hyde Park man with a gun after he allegedly stuck up somebody who'd just made a withdrawal at a Citizens Bank ATM at 572 Columbia Rd. around 1:25 a.m. on Friday.

Police say the victim flagged down a passing C-11 cruiser and described the suspect, clad in a hoodie and pajama pants:

The Globe reports Marilyn Mosby, who brought charges today against six Baltimore police officers, herself comes from a family with a long tradition of serving in the Boston Police Department - and first got interested in the justice system when her 17-year-old cousin was shot to death in Dorchester.

A Springfield man sentenced to ten years in prison in 2005 for dealing cocaine out of his apartment was arrested Thursday on charges of dealing cocaine in Boston, Boston Police report.

Police say they'd had their eye on Craig Bogle, 53, since December, when they heard he was in Boston and dealing drugs.

Not long after police responded to the area of Blue Hill Avenue and Johnston Road on a report of gunfire out of a black car, other officers spotted the car heading south on Blue Hill Avenue.

The car turned onto Babson, then Crossman, blew a tire, stopped near Merola Park and W. Selden Street, where three men got out and tried to run away - only to all be stopped and cuffed by officers.
