Alert New England reports somebody was stabbed in the throat by the Old State House entrance to the State Street T stop around 9 p.m. The T shut down the station to let police investigate the incident.

Christopher Baer tweeted not long after:

I saw a man holding a cloth to his throat getting into an ambulance outside State St. T station a few minutes ago.

Update: Suspect described as black male in 20s, in a black sweatshirt, dark jeans, black shoes and a black hat with a purple brim.

Late Friday night, police were called almost simultaneously to a stabbing at 67 Brookledge St., another stabbing about a block away at Humboldt Avenue and Seaver Street and a car rollover with injuries a few blocks north of that at Humboldt and Crawford Street.

Update: Arrest made.

Boston Police report a 67-year-old woman was found with a stab wound around 10 a.m. at 737 E. 7 St.

The victim, suffering from life threatening injuries, was transported to Boston Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased as a result of her injuries sustained. Homicide detectives are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of the victim's death.

NECN reports she was Barbara Coyne and that state Sen. Jack Hart vows her killer will be brought to justice.

In August of last year, Barbara Tagen, 65, was found beaten to death in her Andrew Square apartment. An alleged drug-using neighbor faces trial on a charge of first-degree murder for her death.

Boston Police report a man was found beaten and stabbed around 2:40 a.m. today in a stairwell at the garage at 274 Tremont St.

The victim was taken to the medical center for treatment of what police say was non-life-threatening injuries.

Javier Fernandez, 35, of Dorchester, was charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, a knife. Jose Lugo, 31, of Hyde Park, was charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon. Police say security personnel from the medical center and a nearby club helped find and arrest the two.

On March 26, three men were charged with beating and attempting to kidnap a man in the garage.

Police: Hamburglars find themselves in a pickle, under arrest outside Dorchester McDonald's

Boston Police report arresting three men at the McDonald's on Dorchester Avenue last night on charges they stuck up a somebody who'd bought one one of them a cheeseburger.

Police say Jerome Young, 38, of Dorchester was standing outside the McDonald's around 10:35 p.m. when he asked a person going in to buy him a cheeseburger. Amazingly, the person did just that and came outside with it:

At that time, Jerome Young and the two other bicycle-riding suspects surrounded the victim. Young then demanded the victim's money, made threats to assault and displayed a knife. Young proceeded to take money out of the victim's pocket.

Young and his one of his two alleged wards, both 18, tried to hightail it out of the area on bicycles, but were unable to pedal fast enough to evade police. The third was arrested at the McDonald's entrance, police say.

Young was charged with armed robbery, threateds and unlawfully carrying a dangerous weapon. Joshua Madison and James Martin, both also from Dorchester, were charged with armed robbery joint venture.

Police say officers returned the victim's money.

Bowdoin Street knife fight sends two to hospital, one of them under arrest

Brian D'Amico reports a man stabbed in the neck was found at Bowdoin and Washington streets shortly before 9 p.m. He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Not long after, a second man was found with a stab wound to the stomach and was transported to a local hospital under police guard.

Boston Police report a man walking his dog around 4 p.m. on Heath Street near South Huntington was robbed by a guy on a mountain bike.

Police say the victim began to chase the bike rider - until he took out and flashed a knife, escaping down Day Street.

Police described the robber as black, heavy set, 6' to 6'2" and weighing 220 to 240 lbs. He was between 35 and 45 and wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt and blue jeans as he pedaled away on his black or dark-blue bike.

A Centerville man who tried pulling one woman into his Jeep, then broke into another woman's apartment, led police on a short chase that ended with him hitting a cruiser then trying to run away and finally struggling with officers as he refused to let go of a knife, police say.

Christopher Baker, 43, was charged with attempted kidnapping, home invasion, armed breaking and entering of a dwelling house, assault by means of a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a police officer, operating after license revocation and failing to stop for police officers following a two-hour hunt across Roxbury's Fort Hill neighborhood.

Boston Police report a man, 26, was stabbed on Park Street around 7:45 p.m. He was taken to Boston Medical Center in serious condition, but is expected to survive, police say.

Another man was stabbed outside the Bowdoin Street Health Center around 11:30 a.m.

Police are looking for a black man, with shoulder-length dreadlocks, wearing a long-sleeve white T shirt with a black-and-white checkered vest.
