Yes, bloody wallpaper. Knick knacks all over the place, stuffy, decaying. One would think money would afford you better taste; guess not. Or hiring a decorator. What? You did hire a decorator? Man charged with stealing cash from senior citizen at an ATM

Boston Police report a senior citizen who'd just taken money out of a Bank of America ATM at 221 Mass. Ave. had some guy walk up behind him and grab his cash.

Adam Sawallich, 24, of Boston, was arrested yesterday on Washington Street on a charge of unarmed robbery on a person over 65. He was picked up with a friend who matched the description of another man the victim saw running away, but who was not charged yesterday.

Boston Police report a guy who made off with a salad from the salad bar at the Pru Shaw's yesterday tried to hold a woman up on Huntington Avenue even as he was stuffing the salad into this mouth.

A security guard who was trailing Hector Tetzaguic, 38, of Dorchester, grabbed him and held him until police arrived, BPD says. He was charged with shoplifting and attempted larceny from a person.

Senior citizen hit by bicycle on Mass. Ave. now a fatality

Boston Police report the 84-year-old man who tried crossing a gridlocked Mass. Ave. Friday afternoon has died. "The preliminary investigation suggests the incident to be a terrible accident," police say:

Witnesses informed officers that motor vehicle traffic was stopped due to gridlock when the elderly male stepped from the curb in an attempt to cross the street. They further stated the victim was immediately struck by a bicyclist traveling on Massachusetts Avenue heading towards the City of Cambridge. The elderly male fell to the ground striking his head. The victim sustained head trauma including a large laceration. The bicyclist stayed with the victim awaiting the arrival of the Boston Police Department. ... According to witness statements, the victim was not utilizing a crosswalk at the point of impact.

Seven indicted on charges they stomped a man to death outside a Back Bay club

Six Lynn men and a Revere man were indicted yesterday on charges they punched and kicked Jose Alicea so severely outside Club 33 on Aug. 20 that he died.

The seven will stand trial in Suffolk Superior Court on second-degree murder and other charges related to the brawl. Five of their associates also face a variety of charges for taking part in the fight with Alicea and three of his friends, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office says, adding they are scheduled for arraignment tomorrow.
