Transit Police report arresting Xavier Galatis, 24, of Medford for attacking a family at Community College on the Orange Line yesterday.

Transit Police report they are looking for this guy for allegedly assaulting a family at the Community College Orange Line station yesterday.
The subject depicted accosted a family and made harsh sexual comments directed at a nine year old child female.

Boston firefighters responded to the Forest Hills Orange Line station around 4:30 p.m. for what turned out to be a flame-shooting switch. The fire was quickly doused with firefighting chemicals, but power was shut on the inbound track so that firefighters and the T could investigate what happened. BFD declared an "all out" about 18 minutes later.
The T has hooked 80 of plows to the front of Red and Orange Line trains today to try to smash that demon snow away from the trains' air scoops so it won't short out the motors like it did so disastrously in 2015 (but just in case). Also, it will have a jet-powered Snowzilla like this to blast the snow away.

The T reports it has dozens of spare engines ready to replace any on the Red and Orange lines that might burn out during tomorrow's storm.
Around 11:15 p.m. in front of the donut shop. Police are looking for two suspects - a black man and a Hispanic woman - who fled towards South Street. The victim's injuries did not appear life threatening.

Around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, a woman was riding the Orange Line when two guys, one white, the other black, got into an argument that escalated with the white guy physically attacking the black one:
The aggressor pushed/threw the victim on top of me as I was sitting and started punching him. My glasses were broken and head scraped in the process.
Who'll stop the rain? Not the creaky infrastructure at the Downtown Crossing T stop. Mark Novak captured some T worker's ingenious solution for stopping the water plotzing on people's head in a stairway between the Red and Orange Lines. Hopefully, somebody remembers to empty it before it gives way, though.
