The MBTA shut power on the Orange Line inbound at Back Bay shortly after 5 p.m. after a man somehow wound up under the platform there. Firefighters got the semi-conscious man out by 5:15 p.m. and all firefighters left the tracks, letting the T restore power and service not long after.

Transit Police have released photos of a guy with a big dog - and his own glasses - they say attacked a person over 60 on an Orange Line platform at North Station and then stole his victim's eyeglasses, around 5:15 p.m. on Oct. 18.

Just when you think you've seen it all on the Orange Line. Roving UHub photographer Dan Peters spotted this hedgehog, named Popcorn, just chillin' near Mass. Ave. this evening, while his owner sat across from him, just watching people's reactions and laughing.
