Transit Police report they are looking for a man they say was spotted photographing up women's skirts at the South Station bus terminal around 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

If he looks familiar, contact detectives at 617-222-1050 or send an anonymous text to 873873.

Transit Police report arresting a 17-year-old they say refused to accept a conductor on a train about to pull out of South Station was only asking his girlfriend where she was heading, not that he was trying to put moves on her. Read more.

Live Boston reports Boston Police are "close to arrests" of four young men who beat a man to the ground and then just kept punching and kicking him as he lay there unconscious while fending off his girlfriend before jumping into an SUV stopped on Atlantic Avenue and speeding off early Friday. The Boston Licensing Board today deferred any action on a proposal for a high-priced liquor kiosk in the South Station commuter-rail waiting area because of strong opposition from the MBTA and Transit Police. Read more.

The Boston Licensing Board decides tomorrow whether to let a company that already runs a mini-packie in New York's Penn Station open a similar liquor kiosk in the South Station commuter-rail waiting area. Read more.

Clear Channel today sued the New York-based company that runs leases inside South Station, demanding it be freed from paying a minimum of $500,000 a year for the right to hoist banners and signs inside a station with so many sight lines now obscured by construction of a 51-story office, residential and hotel tower. A woman who wound up on the outbound Red Line track with a train over her in 2019 is suing the MBTA for the injuries she suffered, charging she wouldn't have been so seriously hurt if the train operator hadn't come into the station so fast that he could not stop in time. Read more.

The MBTA will be giving away $5 Dunk's gift cards at South Station at the convenient time of 1 p.m. on Monday. Bonus: Get a free face mask with every gift card. Workers will also be handing out the gift cards and masks at various subway stops at random times: Maverick, Orient Heights, Wonderland, North Station, Haymarket, South Station, JFK/UMass, Ashmont, Braintree, Harvard, Park Street, Copley, Kenmore, Back Bay and Forest Hills.

NECN reports somebody was stabbed outside South Station around 7:45 p.m.

A witness says that, based on the blood, the victim made his way into the station, to the police/information desk in the commuter-rail section.

Transit Police report arresting an allegedly short-tempered Providence man who blamed another man at South Station for stealing his phone and then began punching him in the face, even though the victim had nothing to do with the alleged fool's phone, which was waiting for him at the station lost and found - and had been siting there before he unleashed his closed fist of fury at Track 7 shortly before 6 p.m. on Friday.
