The Boston Business Journal reports Reebok has picked the the Innovation & Design Building in the Seaport for its new headquarters.

It'll join New Balance (Brighton) and Converse (North Station) in Boston.

Mayor Walsh announced today that the cost of parking at a meter in the Back Bay and the South Boston Waterfront will jump Jan. 3 in a program to see if raising prices can reduce congestion along local curbs. Read more.

A federal judge in Boston today issued a temporary restraining order against W.B. Mason that requires it to rehire two drivers who claimed they were fired last year during a successful organizing effort by Teamsters Local 25 at the company's warehouse on Summer Street in South Boston. Read more.

WBZ reports a Cambridge company plans to begin testing self-driving cars in the South Boston Waterfront by the end of the year. But a company honcho cautions not to expect widespread use of the vehicle in Boston, because, you know:

Boston’s a city with some challenging weather and some complex traffic patterns.

Wicked Local Brookline reports Town Meeting tonight banned the landing of manned aircraft in residential areas. What? Was somebody with a GE logo on their car spotted prowling around town? No, must be something else; the Globe reports the public helipad Boston wants to build for GE will likely be on a pier behind the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion on the South Boston Waterfront.

The BPDA (formerly BRA) board yesterday approved GE's $200-million plans to turn two old Fort Point buildings into its new corporate headquarters.

In addition to housing GE brass and support staff, the buildings on Necco Court will house "Brilliant Lab" lab and work spaces available to BPS students and the public at large and a bistro and cafe. The company will also expand the neighboring Harborwalk and design the building's for energy efficiency and to survive increasingly high tides as the seas rise.

Developer Mark Edwards has filed plans with the BPDA for a 150-unit building - with 70 marketed as "workforce" housing for middle-income residents - at Dorchester Avenue and B Street in South Boston. Read more.

A man in his late 70s or early 80s, whose last known address was in Walpole, was found dead this morning near a bench in Marine Park near Castle Island in South Boston, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Neither the man’s body nor the scene showed signs of violence or a struggle, but the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of his death.

WCVB reports the managers of an apartment building on A Street in Fort Point require tenants to have their dogs' DNA tested - so if maintenance workers find dog shit, they can test it and, if it matches a tenant's pet, they can be billed for the cleanup.

If only the building didn't have such a frickin' pretentious name: 315 on A. Because plain old 315 A St. just wasn't la-di-da enough.

The board was scheduled to annoint GE's plans for two buildings on Necco Street at its monthly meeting today, but put off the discussion and vote because of a clerical error involving the agenda for the meeting.

The BPDA today approved a mixed-use building where West Broadway becomes East Broadway that will require the demolition of a Dunkin' Donuts.

The proposal, which calls for ground-floor retail - but not a replacement Dunk's - 18 condo units and 23 parking spaces would also replace Perkins Supply at 482 West Broadway, in a roughly $8.4-million project.

WBZ reports that's one possibility for dealing with South Boston bus stops that are bursting at the seams - although state Rep. Nick Collins, who suggested the idea said the real answer is more bus service.
