Peterborough Street restaurant row slated to re-open in June
By adamg - 2/14/11 - 9:35 amA June opening is anticipated for all 7 restaurants, according to Theo Associates, which handles leasing for the Peterborough Street building that burned down two years ago.
The company says Thornton's Fenway Grille, Swish Shabu (Japanese hot pots), Fenway Phoenix Cafe (breakfast, soups and sandwiches) will join stalwarts Rod Dee Thai and El Pelon. A "New York Italian pizzeria" is close to signing up, Theo says, adding, "one of Boston's most iconic take out venues also getting ready to announce plans." That would be Speed's Hot Dogs, opening its first permanent location after years serving dogs out of a truck in Newmarket Square (the truck will remain there).
