Boston Police report Barbara Tagen, 65, was killed in her apartment at 385 Dorchester St. sometime before her body was discovered around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Police found her body "suffering from trauma."

Boston Police report a worker at Marian Manor was attacked in Andrew Square by a co-worker's gun-wielding muscle - four guys in a car - Saturday night.

According to police, the suspect felt his co-worker had stolen "his weed and money." He was arrested, the four pistol whippers, however, escaped.

District C-6 reports a man was stabbed in the right arm and robbed of $212 around 7:15 p.m. on Thursday at 363 Dorchester St.

The victim told police he was approached by three light-skinned Hispanic males who addressed him in Spanish. One was described as 18, 6'1" and about 220 lbs., with thin sideburns and a goatee and wearing a gray hoodie and a black hat. Another was described as 18, about 5'7" and 180 lbs., in Nike wind pants and a gray sweatshirt. The victim could not describe the third assailant.

Two-alarm fire races through Andrew Square triple decker

The Boston Fire Department reports a two-alarm fire broke out this afternoon on the second floor of 8 Leeds St.

The department reports the occupant of the first floor is a recent Boston Fire recruit who was listening to the department radio channel in a classroom at the Moon Island training facility when he heard his own address being called out. He was excused from class and allowed to go home to deal with the damage from all the water used to fight the fire.

The department adds the fire displaced five people and caused an estimated $100,000 in damage.

Man seeks to extend closing hour at Andrew Square bar - with a gun

District C-6 reports that when the help at the Connection, 560 Dorchester Ave., asked a particular guy to leave at closing time on May 8, he pulled out a silver handgun to object. Workers got him outside, where he pulled out his gun and stated "I'll shoot you." Instead, however, he ran down Dorchester Street.

District C-6 reports a man walking on Ellery Street around 1 p.m. on April 11, was approached by a guy who put a knife to his back and told him to "run everything you have and don't look back."

The suspect, described as a white Hispanic male, about 27, 5'6" and 170 lbs, in a black hat and sweatpants and a red hoodie, then fled into Old Colony with the man's backpack, police say.

Boston and State Police report they are looking for a guy who held up the Mt. Washington Bank branch at 501 Southampton St. around 2:40 p.m. yesterday:

The subject placed a bag on the counter and threatened the tellers, verbally demanding cash. The teller placed cash into the bag and the subject fled the bank on foot.

Boston Police report a man was robbed of his Nokia cell phone, diamond earrings, gold chain and gold bracelet by three black males, one with a knife, around 12:30 p.m. on April 11 at 1 Ellery St. in South Boston.
