Boston and State Police are swarming the area from Boston Medical Center to Freeport Street in Dorchester, looking for evidence in a shooting spree that left one man dead and that ended with arrests after a chase down the Expressway.

The incident began shortly after 6:45, when three men started firing away where Mass. Ave., Melnea Cass Boulevard and Southampton Street come together. Boston Police report he was rushed to nearby Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Tons of ILLEGALLY PARKED out of state cars taking up spots from people that are from here. This has been an endless problem. Please tow the cars that keep taking the spots that are supposed to be for people that actually live here!!!

Boston Police report arresting a North Attleboro man on drunk-driving charges after, they say, he plowed into a BWSC dump truck at Dudley and Belden streets around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Police say the driver of the BWSC truck watched as the man sprayed cologne in his mouth. Officers arrived to find him spraying cologne on the rest of himself in an apparent attempt to mask the stench of booze, police say, adding: It didn't work:

A driver with impaired reading skills plowed his truck into the ceiling of the Storrow tunnel eastbound this morning. The ceiling refused to yield, forcing the top of his truck to peel back like a sardine can and backing up Storrow Drive onto Soldiers Field Road way back by the Harvard Business School in Allston and causing similar delays on Memorial Drive when Storrow refugees flooded that road, lord!

State Police report a box truck full of ice rolled over around 8:30 a.m. on a ramp from Rte. 128 north to Rte. 62 in Danvers. No word if it was in a convoy with a Scotch truck.

Boston Police report a collision between a tractor trailer and a woman on a bicycle ended with the bicyclist dead around 3:50 p.m. at West Broadway and A Street.

It appears the TT was turning left from A St on West Broadway when the accident occurred.

Michael Ahern, 46, was arrested yesterday on charges he ran down and killed a man riding his bicycle down Morrissey Boulevard early Friday, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Doan Bui, 63, was pronounced dead at the scene following the 12:30 a.m. crash near Malibu Beach between Ahearn's pickup and his bike.

Prosecutors formally charged Ahern with motor-vehicle homicide, operating under the influence of alcohol, operating to endanger and speeding at his arraignment in Dorchester District Court.

Angela Christoforos and Stanley Staco report a bicycle/car collision on Morrisey Boulevard southbound by Malibu Beach around 12:30 a.m. fatally injured the bicycle rider. The Herald reports the man, 63, was pronounced dead at the scene.
