Because of the amendment barring the use of federal funds for most abortions - Pagliuca and Khazei say they would have voted for it despite that - Blue Mass. Group reports.

On September 24, 2009 City Year Founder Alan Khazei announced his candidacy for US Senate, for the seat vacated by Senator Edward M. Kennedy. A week later, Press Pass TV interviewed the candidate at his headquarters in Downtown Boston.

Ever since Sal DiMasi left, it's seemed like everybody who might ever put their photo on glossy stock and mail that out to thousands of people has bought into the idea of casinos or die. Alan Khazei, running for Senate, though, told the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce this morning that he opposes casinos:
