Brookline, turkeys

In a town without pity, a squirrel without fear

Wicked Local Brookline proves Brookline is turning feral: The killer turkeys remain on the loose and now even the squirrels are turning into two-bit punks.

'For the most part, people can defend themselves'

That's the best Brookline's animal control officer can say when discussing his town's turkey toughs.

Turkey toughs terrorize town

The town being Brookline, of course. Turkeys force car into oncoming traffic.

The turkeys are now approaching the station

As if Riverside commuters didn't have enough to worry about, now people getting off at Longwood have to dodge the blood-crazed killer turkeys of Brookline.

Digiphile somehow evaded them long enough to post the photo.

It's never a good sign when the turkeys begin to organize

We haven't heard much recently about Brookline's killer turkeys. But that's perhaps because they've been off at a secret training camp. And now, they're back patrolling Beacon Street.

Brookline turkeys draw blood

Run! Run for your lives!

... Recently, the animal control officer encountered two male turkeys while conducting an investigation into a report of a wild turkey. He was attacked by these turkeys, requiring medical attention to his leg. It appears a resident had been feeding the turkeys.

Brookline Police ask all residents not to feed turkeys in their neighborhoods. If the turkeys have no food they will move on. They also advise residents not to leave children unattended in the yard near turkeys ...

Especially don't feed them after midnight.
