Yes, it's a rumor that seems to pop up every few months, but this time records at the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds show that the owners of the Tahiti, on Mah Way (not the highway), sold the building and its roughly 1 acre of land to a Dedham home builder, Frank Gobbi, last month for $2.9 million. Yesterday afternoon, an egret waded along the shallows on the Cutler Park side of the Charles in Dedham for awhile, before a duck got it riled and it began flapping its wings and tried to make the duck go away and then it walked onto a sandbar in the low river before flying the final 30 feet or so to the Millennium Park side of the river in West Roxbury.

Boston Restaurant Talk reports some "bacon masters" plan to take over the recently closed Roadworthy space on Washington Street in Dedham, near the mall. Unlike Roadworthy, Small Batch Cafe will concentrate on breakfast and lunch, so presumably the bacon expertise will come in handy.
