David Weininger reports a guy who fare jumped at Central around 10:40 a.m. got caught and called back to the fare gates as a train was pulling in - but not before he punched a window on the first train car.

A fight that started when some men wouldn't leave a woman alone inside a Central Square bar early this morning spilled out into the street and turned into a brawl involving 25 people that ended when police arrived and discovered the woman's boyfriend had been stabbed in the chest. Read more.

UPDATE, 3:58 p.m. WBZ reports he's been captured in Somerville.

UPDATE: Cambridge Police report the suspect may be escaped Cambridge desperado James Walker Morales.

Police searching for the guy who held up the Bank of America branch at 772 Mass. Ave. around 9:30 a.m. halted the Red Line so they could search cars for him - because they know that bank robbers like to try to escape on the Red Line when they don't have a getaway car.
