Ball Square Cafe. A patron pouring cream. An unfortunate word from the owner. Then it escalates.

Two Ball Square breakfast joints have been slinging the hash at each other for the past six months. Cops have been called, the mayor has gotten involved:

... But last week an olive branch was extended when Ball Square Cafe owner Mike Moccia sent a written apology to his past foe, Sound Bites owner Yasser Mirza. He also sent the letter to [Mayor] Curtatone. ...

Mirza, however, refuses to table the dispute; won't serve up a return apology.
