A Suffolk Superior Court jury today convicted Alexander Gallet and Michel St. Jean of first-degree murder for the stabbing death of Richel Nova in an abandoned Hyde Park Avenue house in 2010, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

WFXT reports Yamiley Mathurin, 21, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and armed robbery today as jury deliberation continued for the trial of her and two pals for fatally stabbing Richel Nova in 2010. The other two still face charges of first-degree murder.

Alexander Gallett, 22, Michel St. Jean, 24, and Yamiley Mathurin, 21, face trial on charges they stabbed Richel Nova to death in a robbery at the vacant Hyde Park Avenue house to which they ordered a Domino's pizza on Sept. 2, 2010.

Prosecutors charge that after luring the father of three inside and stabbing him to death, the trio raced off in his car - which was discovered the next morning in the parking lot of a River Street church.

WBZ talked to Tom Menino about his comments last week that he'd like to slowly torture the people responsible for killing the hard-working Hyde Park man - whose daughters had both worked in the mayor's office. Three people were arrested for Nova's murder as he delivered a pizza to what turned out to be an abandoned house on Hyde Park Avenue.

The money will help them continue their college educations, for which Nova had been working two jobs. Mayor Tom Menino, for whom they had worked, set up the fund.

WBUR interviews a Hyde Park High School student who found her best friend and two guys in her yard around 2 a.m. last Wednesday:

Valery doesn't understand why they came to her house afterwards.

"It really sickens me. And [they] actually brought the box of pizza home and [were] offering me a slice of pizza ... and [they're] really letting me eat this pizza and [they] know [they] just robbed somebody and killed them," she said.

Boston Police report arresting two Hyde Park men and a Mattapan woman on charges they stabbed Richel Nova to death when he delivered a pizza to the vacant Hyde Park Avenue house they had allegedly broken into late Wednesday night.

Michel Andre St. Jean, 20, of Hyde Park; Alexander Emmanuel Gallett, 18, of Hyde Park and Yamiley Mathurin, 17, of Mattapan, are all charged with murder, armed robbery and armed breaking and entering of a dwelling house.

A pizza-delivery man in his 50s was stabbed to death at 742 Hyde Park Ave. in Roslindale shortly before midnight by two men and a woman, who stole his car and then abandoned it behind a church a couple miles away in Hyde Park, police say.
