Crowds at Quincy Market

Jason Turgeon was part of the horde trying to get into the Body Worlds exhibit today using discount tickets purchased through LivingSocial. Seems the discounter sold a block of tickets for today, and lots of people picked the same time to use them and LivingSocial did nothing to stop them. He gives this a big "FAIL."

Dek

A fed-up citizen complains about a local DJ who keeps putting up his stupid stickers on light poles across the city, no matter how many of them this fair citizen of the Hub keeps ripping down:

I've removed almost a hundred past few years. Obscene language.

Mr. Dek has a Facebook page, of course.

From downtown office towers to apartments across the city, Boston firefighters were kept busy tonight dealing with sprinkler systems failing under the onslaught of cold temperatures.

Firefighters went floor to floor in the 33-story 44 Federal St. tonight, ordering all unnecessary workers out of the building after they shut the entire building's sprinkler system due to a leak.

Around the same time, firefighters responded to the Vault Restaurant, on the appropriately named Water Street, for a burst pipe feeding sprinklers in that building.
