Tyrone Worrell, 39, of Dorchester, was ordered held without bail at his arraignment today on charges he fatally shot Tarek Mroue (right) in a road-rage incident on Winthrop Street in Roxbury Wednesday evening, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Police have flooded Mission Hill and the neighboring section of Roxbury to look for a guy who's been busy the last week or so setting fires, most recently one tonight next to a house on St. Alphonsus Street on Mission Hill (per Stacos) and one in a dumpster behind the Whittier Street Health Center on Tremont Street. BFD arson investigators would also like a word with the suspect, described as a light-skinned black man in a black coat and khaki pants and possibly wearing a black hat.

Liz Miranda, executive director of the Hawthorne Community Center in Roxbury, is raising funds to try to get up to 1,000 local kids to screenings of Black Panther during the February school vacation week.

Our withdrawal plan is to buy out at least 3 theaters and purchase as many tickets and food vouchers on three different days and work with community agencies, the City of Boston and schools to identify students/ young people to attend the screenings.

Police responding to reports of gunfire on Holworthy Street near Harold Street around 11:45 p.m. found a car with fresh bullet holes - and a trail of blood that they followed to an apartment on Columbus Avenue near Egleston Square, where they found a person with a gunshot wound to the hand.

Boston Police report a guy who sped away from an attempted traffic stop at Highland and Centre streets in Roxbury around 11:15 p.m. yesterday crashed into an SUV down Highland at Marcella, kept on going and disappeared - after first abandoning his red Camry at Humboldt Avenue and Elbert Street.
