A man wanted for a stabbing on Friday who was holed up with his family in a third-floor apartment in Roslindale's Archdale escaped police by jumping out his third-floor window last night, WCVB reports.
Stanley Staco reports police are looking for three men who broke into an apartment on Brookway Road in the Archdale project shortly after 4 a.m., robbed an occupant of $1,000, then fled. Police recovered guns on the roofs of 80 and 90 Brookway Rd.
Two Roslindale brothers were charged as leaders of a drug trafficking ring that also allegedly employed their mother - and several other people across the city - local and federal law enforcement officials said today. The ring allegedly did much of its business out of mom's apartment in the Archdale project.
UPDATE: Friends and family identify the victim as Nelson B. Castillo, 25, of Roslindale. He leaves his wife and young daughter.

This was the eighth shooting in Boston on Saturday but the only fatal one.
Last December, a man was fatally shot in the head at 20 Brookway Terrace, followed the next month by a woman being shot to death a couple blocks away on Fawndale Rd. In April, cars were shot up at 80 Archdale.
AlertNewEngland reports shots were fired at 80 Archdale Rd. around 8:15 p.m. A car that was apparently punctured by some of the bullets wound up at the upper busway at the Forest Hills MBTA station not long after. Two other cars on Archdale Road wound up with "ballistic evidence" but didn't go anywhere.
