The Hamilton Co., which owns the office building at 392-398 Chestnut Hill Ave. in Cleveland Circle, today sued to try to block plans by an Ipswich concern to turn the former Dunkin' Donuts on Beacon Street into a marijuana dispensary. Read more.

Right out of the gate, at like 5:15 a.m., the T was announcing delays on the Red Line because of problems completing overnight repair work.

City Realty has filed plans with the BPDA to replace a three-story "underutilized" office building at 358 Chestnut Hill Ave., next to the Circle pizza place, in Brighton, with a six-story, 30-unit apartment building. Read more.

Security door at old Dunkin' Donuts

Company cited this existing secured door, said it would remain for pot deliveries, cash pickups.

The Boston Cannabis Commission will decide whether to let a marijuana chain move its proposed dispensary from the former Mary Ann's on Beacon Street in Cleveland Circle to the former Dunkin' Donuts about 100 feet down the street. Read more.

The MBTA reports it's breaking out some buses to try to ferry C Line riders who are stuck between Cleveland Circle and Coolidge Corner because a driver somehow got his or her car stuck on the tracks near Cleveland Circle.

Workers at the Starbucks at 1948 Beacon St. in Brighton struck this morning after they say the shop's owners refused repeated requests to fix problems that finally cascaded into water coming out of ceiling lighting fixtures, streaming down "onto the floors, espresso machines, counter spaces and the partners themselves" for several hours yesterday. I’d avoid Cleveland Circle for awhile if driving. Bad accident where it’s probably going to take some time to clear. Everyone seems okay at least.
