Fourth man charged with ambush murder on Havelock Street in Dorchester

Boston Police report arresting Andrew Robertson, 37, of Hyde Park, on charges he participated in ambushing and murdering Romeo McCubbin early on Dec. 14.

Robertson was ordered held without bail at his arraignment today in Dorchester District Court, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Third man charged for Havelock Street murder ambush last month

Boston Police report the arrest of Javaine Watson, 23, for the murder of early on Dec. 14 of Romeo McCubbin.

Watson was arrested this morning and ordered held without bail at his arraignment today in Dorchester District Court, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

According to the DA's office, Watson, Omar Denton, 29, of Milton, and Omar Bonner, 26, waited for McCubbin to show up around 1:45 a.m. that day, then ambushed and shot him to death.

Two men were ordered held without bail today on charges they gunned down Romeo McCubbin early Saturday on Havelock Street.

At their arraignment today, Assistant District Attorney Ian Polumbaum accused Omar Denton and Omar Bonner of forcing McCubbin out of his car around 1:45 a.m. and ordering him to lie on the ground.

"As he lay there, Bonner shot him multiple times at close range," Polumbaum said. Then, he continued, "Denton kicked the victim in the head as he lay there with bullets in him."

Boston Police report two men arrested on gun charges in Hyde Park after a chase from near the scene of a Dorchester murder early yesterday are now also being charged with the murder.
