An alleged Morse Street gang member arrested on federal drug charges on Friday was charged today with murdering Tyler Lawrence, 13, of Norwood at Babson and Fremont streets in Mattapan on Jan. 29, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.
A man already in prison for violating conditions of probation on a gun charge is scheduled for arraignment tomorrow on charges he shot Julien Printemps of Mattapan to death on Jan. 26, 2014 outside the Tedeschi shop on Dorchester Avenue, Boston Police and the Suffolk County District Attorney's office report. A man in his 20s was shot repeatedly outside the Tedischi shop at 1886 Dorchester Ave., around 9:50 p.m. Boston Police report he was pronounced dead at the scene.
He is Boston's sixth murder victim this month.
