Herbert "HB" Small, 32, a one-time member of the infamous Columbia Point Dawgs - along with his brothers and father - now faces new federal charges after he allegedly sold guns and crack earlier this year to a buyer who turned out to be working undercover for the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. A federal judge yesterday sentenced Demetrius "Troll" Williams, 30, to 15 1/2 years in federal prison for his role in the running of the Columbia Point Dawgs, the US Attorney's office reports. Read more.

A federal judge yesterday sentenced Israel Delacruz, 39, to two years in prison for his role in the Columbia Point Dawgs, a gang that started in the old Columbia Point Housing project and grew to include "crews" down the East Coast before 48 alleged members were indicted in 2015. Read more.

A federal grand jury has indicted Adarbaad Karani, 37, of West Roxbury, on two counts of making false statement during the purchase of firearms and two counts of making a false statement in a record, the US Attorney's office reports. Read more.
