A Fenway landlord that wouldn't return the security deposit to two tenants who moved out in August, 2020 has to pay them that deposit times three, the costs of their attorney to get that check and now the extra legal fees they racked up when the landlord appealed a court's decision to grant the tenants their treble damages, the Massachusetts Appeals Court ruled today. A pizza-delivery guy was robbed of his keys and the pizza he was carrying at Edgerly Road and Westland Avenue around 10:45 p.m. by a group of eight to ten black teenagers. About 15 minutes earlier, another man was attacked, possibly by the same group, nearby on Huntington Avenue.

Serial restrepreneur Douglas Bacon told the Boston Licensing Board today he hopes to have the long shuttered Symphony 8 restaurant on Westland Avenue open for business in a few months.
It's the same thing Bacon told the board in May 2014, but he swears this time he really means it. Read more.

A person was robbed at gunpoint by two males, 14 or 15, outside 24 Westland Ave., around 9:20 p.m. on Saturday, Sgt. Luke Taxter at District D-4 reports.

Sgt. Luke Taxter at D-4 reports two people were robbed around 11:30 p.m., Sunday, at Hemenway Street and Westland Avenue by three black males in hoodies, at least one armed with a knife.
