Truman Highway or Truman Parkway?

Greta was looking at photos I'd taken of an old pedestrian bridge in Hyde Park, when she told me I got the name of the street wrong: "It's not Truman Highway! It's Truman Parkway!"

Of course, a road trip was demanded to settle the question. And this is what we found. On one side of the intersection with Dana Avenue:

Truman Highway

On the other side of the intersection:

Truman Parkway

So our thanks to the Boston DPW: We can both claim victory!

Bolstering the "Parkway" argument, every other sign we spotted said "Truman Parkway." Arguing for "Highway" is the fact that Hyde Park and Roslindale are full of "highways" that are, in fact, anything but highways (American Legion Highway is, if you're charitable, an avenue; Cummins Highway could hardly be called anything other than a street).

Does it maybe have a different name in Hyde Park than it does in Milton? Like Harvard St in Brookline which becomes Harvard Ave in Allston?

But these signs were at the exact same intersection in Hyde Park, kitty-corner from each other.

Embassey/Embassy Road in Brighton, which is a block long.

Or that square at the end of the #73 bus line in Belmont. Waverly or Waverley?
