Transformer component on the Fenway

Brian the roving UHub photographer spotted this big ol' thing being driven down the Fenway today and wondered what it is. DCR had earlier reported it was planning to close parts of various parkways in the area to allow for the transportation of "a large electrical transformer" today - although of course, now we want to know where it's headed (the last street they list is Boylston Street, so maybe to that new tower going in at Mass Ave.?).

H/t Lee Toma for the answer.

The T reminds Green Line riders that it's shutting down the ol' E Line between Copley and Heath between Aug. 6 and Aug. 21 to make improvements, including sprucing up the tracks it didn't get to the last time it shut the line. Riders who'd rather not just walk from Back of the Hill to Copley Square can instead ride the 39 bus, the T says.

Hey, adult white male w/blue baseball cap & goatee in row 5 section 17 of Fenway at today’s Red Sox game: it’s an all-time dick move to take the foul ball that hit my wife in the face instead of letting my kid have it. (I’m not at the game.)
