The Boston Licensing Board decides tomorrow whether to let the owner of the fire-ravaged TC's Lounge on Haviland sell the liquor license to a company that plans a restaurant and music venue in the new Berklee tower on Mass. Ave.

Jeremiah Tracy, manager of the proposed Boston Beats, said he's hoping to recreate the best of the old Wally's - a place where Berklee and other musicians can just drop in for jam sessions as others enjoy a bite to eat and something to drink.

Around 9:15 p.m. a man jumped in front of an outbound Orange Line train as it entered Back Bay station.

The T shut power in both directions so that firefighters could extricate the man, who remained alert and conscious (photo from the platform). About 22 minutes later, firefighters got him onto the platform for treatment by EMTs and transportation to a local hospital.
