Mount Auburn Cemetery announced that it has reopened to the public from noon to 7 pm daily. Public restrooms will be open, but all other buildings including the chapels and Washington Tower remain closed.

The cemetery had temporarily closed on March 30, except for families visiting their loved ones' graves.

DCR announced it's shutting parts of Day Boulevard in South Boston, Francis Parkman Drive in Jamaica Plain and Greenough Boulevard at dusk today to make the asphalt available to pedestrians, bicyclists and scooter riders who want some fresh air while keeping six feet away from everybody else. Mount Auburn Cemetery announced that it is closing to the public, effective this Monday, March 30. From that day forward, the gates will be open only from 4 to 6 pm, and only for the purpose of families visiting their loved ones' graves.

Watertown News reports that the company turning the old Arsenal Mall into one of those au courant mixed-use developments, to be called Arsenal Yards, says an 18-story tower would be skinnier than the squatter 12-story building it originally wanted to put up, so more open space and, bonus, more sunlight to hit that open space, and who doesn't like sunlight on open space? Also, yeah, they could charge more for condos 18 stories up. However, not everybody in town is thrilled with the idea.
